Quinolones has become a nucleus for novel research because its medicinal properties are well established. Quinoline ring has vast majority of pharmacological activities like antitumor, FMS Kinase Inhibitor, antibiotic, anti HIV and antibiotic. In this research novel quinolones are synthesized by innovative method by substitution at two different positions in the ring. Mainly the antibacterial activity was studied in this research with the help of new quinolone derivatives. Mainly substitution at 6 position and 8 position was carried out for the evaluation of the antibacterial activity. It was observed that newer substituent’s have remarkable increase in the anti bacterial activity which leads to the development of newer quinolone compounds.
